Line clears and scoring in Wow Tetris
Understanding how lines score helps you decide when to set up a double or triple clear instead of burning a single—especially as levels raise the pace.
Scoring basics
In Wow Tetris, clearing more lines at once yields a bigger bonus per event, scaled by your current level. That rewards risky stack management and well-timed hard drops when you are ready to commit.
Soft drop vs hard drop
Soft drop (arrow down) nudges the piece one row at a time and adds a small score per step—useful for fine alignment. Hard drop (space) sends the piece straight down instantly and awards points based on drop distance, which can spike your score when you have height to burn.
Use the ghost piece
The faint outline shows where the active piece will land. Use it to avoid misaligned rotations and to plan slides before you lock—especially at higher levels when you have less time to recover from a mistake.
Practice route
Play a few rounds focusing only on no misdrops, then add speed. For more context, see Welcome to Wow Tetris or return to the game.
